The Bright family consists of myself, Mark, my wife Amanda, our daughter Amy (16) and our son Alex (11).We live near Dudley in the West Midlands, and have been married for almost 18 Years (May 9th 1992), and are basically fairly normal people.
I suppose that the main reason for maintaining this site is to allow those who do not live as close as they used to, to keep up to date with the development of our family, and they do the same in return.
This entire site is currently in the throws of a massive reconstruction project, as such many of the pages consist of a heading, and not much else. Now I am reasonably happy with the layout and menu's I intend to try and complete the actual content pages as quickly as possible. Initially with material copied directly from the old site, but then brought up to date in 'Phase 2'.
I have now switched the Redbreva.com and redbreva.co.uk URL's to the new site, although well short of complete, it is at least a working site and it will (hopefully) give me the incentive I need to try and complete it as quickly as possible. So far, Cars, HiFi Hardware and Mark have been built. The cars page is lacking graphics at present, but all the text is there, the non JavaScript menu system works, and it validates.
In the meantime, why not check out My 'Blog'... not the most interesting read in the world, but I have been using it to keep a note of events of significance for many months, so that I can update the website later. The aim of the rebuild is to build an attractive, cross browser, standards compliant website using XHTML 1.0 and CSS level 1 & 2.
I make no promises that either, the content will be interesting, or even that the presentation will be good... The only thing I am reasonably sure of... it should be a lot easier to maintain in future.
